When working under stressful conditions, a simple task, such as resizing a window, may become difficult. You will tend to miss the window's edge or select another window by mistake. We can not say that it is uncomfortable to work with multiple windows. They can be moved and resized just by dragging their edges or title bars with the mouse cursor. Taekwindow will make this even easier. As long as it runs as a background process, you will be able to move or resize windows no matter where you click them.

The application costs nothing and you only need to download a 28 Kb archive, which contains an .exe file. After extracting this file, you can run Taekwindow right away, without needing to go through a setup process.

If the application is active, you can move a window by clicking and dragging anywhere on it. You just need to hold down the Alt key while doing this. You can also resize it by clicking and dragging with the right mouse button. While using Taekwindow, you will be able to scroll on an inactive window. Simply hover with the cursor over the window and rotate the mouse wheel.

Double clicking Taekwindow's system tray icon will bring up a tabbed settings panel. By default, you will have to hold down the left Alt key to move or resize a window, but you can set the application to use the right or both Alt keys, in this settings panel. You can also rearrange the functions of the mouse buttons. If you want to use the right mouse button to move a window, you can make this possible in the settings window.

The settings window contains other options, related to resizing or scrolling. Taekwindow will let you choose where to store the settings by clicking one of the radio buttons, under the General tab. The settings can either be saved in the Windows Registry or as an INI file.

Pros

The unpacked application takes up only 43 Kb of disk space, which is insignificant for any hard drive. It does not make use of too many resources and it makes it possible to resize windows or move them more comfortably.

Cons

It is only possible to set the Alt keys as the trigger. No matter how fast you may work in MS Windows, Taekwindow will let you work even faster. You will not notice the application itself, but you will certainly notice its effects.
